🏪 Create Your Restaurant Profile
Sign up at restromithra.com, then enter your restaurant details: outlet name, address, GSTIN, outlet type (QSR, Fine Dining, Cafe, Cloud Kitchen, Dhaba, Bar, Bakery, Food Truck), and base currency. Takes 3 minutes.
You can manage multiple branches or brands from a single account. Each outlet gets its own dashboard, menu, and KDS configuration while rolling up into a unified chain analytics view.
📋 Build or Import Your Menu
Add your menu categories (Starters, Mains, Desserts, Drinks), items, prices, GST rates, and dietary tags (Veg/Non-Veg/Jain/Vegan). Import from spreadsheet or CSV export from your existing software.
Assign each item to a kitchen prep station (Tandoor, Curry, Grill, Bar, etc.) for automatic KOT routing. Set Bill of Materials (BOM) for each dish to enable real-time recipe costing and stock depletion on settlement.
🖨️ Connect Your Thermal Printer
Install the lightweight RestroMithra Hardware Agent on the computer or Android device connected to your receipt printer. The agent auto-detects your ESC/POS printer (USB, LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
Works with all standard thermal printers: Epson TM-T82, TVS RP-3200, Star TSP-100, Sunmi K2. The Hardware Agent also activates the local SQLite offline bridge for 15ms billing without internet.
📺 Set Up Kitchen Display Screens
Open the KDS screen on kitchen Android tablets or PC browsers. Assign each KDS to one or more kitchen stations. Captains fire KOTs from their handheld — orders appear on KDS within 100ms.
KDS supports color-coded prep timers, auditory alerts, 86 sync (mark items unavailable), and item completion checkoff. WebSocket protocol ensures real-time sync without page refresh.
📱 Enable QR Ordering (Optional)
Print unique QR codes for each dining table. Guests scan, view your live menu, and place orders directly to the KDS. No app download required. Supports UPI payment at table.
QR codes are dynamic — when you 86 an item at the POS, it disappears from the QR menu in real time. Dietary filter (Veg/Non-Veg/Vegan) and item search are built in.
💰 Take Your First Bill & Go Live
Select a table or start a quick billing session, add items, fire KOTs to the kitchen, and settle the bill via Cash, Card, or UPI. Print a GST-compliant thermal receipt or send via WhatsApp.
Your restaurant is now live on RestroMithra. Day-end EOD reports, GST summaries, item-wise sales analytics, and stock depletion reports are all available immediately in the cloud dashboard.
How the Offline Bridge Works
The RestroMithra Hardware Agent is a lightweight daemon (under 15MB) that installs on the cashier computer or Android terminal. It creates a local SQLite transaction store and an ESC/POS printer bridge on localhost:8080.
When the web console needs to print a KOT or receipt, it sends the request to localhost:8080. The agent prints immediately — no internet required. All transactions queue locally and sync to the cloud PostgreSQL database the moment WAN connectivity returns.
